Book Review: Snow-Kissed Proposals by Jenni Fletcher and Elisabeth Hobbes.

When two of your favourite authors write short stories that then get put together in one cute festive package, you know it's going to be a good Christmas!!

The Blurb.

A snowy Victorian Christmas

Two festive short stories!

In The Christmas Runaway by Jenni Fletcher: wilful, independent heiress, Fiona MacKay, impulsively runs away to a remote Scottish tower where she’s trapped in the snow with equally headstrong, deliciously dishevelled Angus Drummond.

In Their Snowbound Reunion by Elisabeth Hobbes: fifteen years ago, Amy Munroe and Anthony Matthews were cruelly parted, and each blames the other. When Amy becomes Anthony’s new housekeeper, their passion is reawakened!

My Review.

Both of these stories were a delight to read! Forgive me if this review is short and to the point, but as I mentioned earlier, Jenni Fletcher and Elisabeth Hobbes are two of my favourites, so I know whatever I pick up from them means I'm going to be in for a treat. I wasn't wrong!! I'm very much feeling all of the festive vibes already. My tree is up and today it's been snowing, so Christmas is a coming!!!

These two stories had me smiling with all the talk of Christmas decorating and what they had back in the day that was vastly different to all the thousands of decorations that we have nowadays to choose from. There's something quite magical about going outside to pick your own holly or branches to decorate, don't you think?

The romantic in me was very happy with how these stories turned out. I loved all of the characters and their journeys to each other. Everything was super cosy, wonderfully heart-warming and I'd highly recommend them for curling up by your Christmas tree or a log fire with!

I'd also recommend treating a friend or family member to Snow-Kissed Proposals too!! :) Make their Christmas bright!

Happy Reading!
