Book Review: Rescued By Her Highland Soldier by Sarah Mallory.

A lovely, easy going read to enjoy outside in the sunshine!! Thank you Sarah Mallory for sending me a copy of 'Rescued by Her Highland Soldier.'

The Blurb.

Her rugged Highlander

Is the gallant son of a laird!

Travelling alone through the treacherous Scottish Highlands, Madeleine d’Evremont is saved by rough-looking soldier, Grant Rathmore. Attraction flares between them as he escorts Madeline on her perilous escape to France, until she discovers he’s the heir of a respected Laird! Madeline knows she must let him go – surely the daughter of a humble adventurer could never be a suitable match for him now?

My Review.

With easy to love characters and an exciting adventurous story, I found myself eager to pick up my kindle every night and see how Madeleine and Grant's journey was going. I loved Madeleine's can do attitude and how she was strong and determined and I love how protective and caring Grant was. He was every bit a gentleman and I was happy that he didn't give up on Madeleine or let her push him away.

Their dialogue and friendship was a delight to read, especially when Grant got that twinkle in his eye and was occasionally flirty with Madeleine. They worked great as a team, which was perfect when they needed to come up with a story or get away from danger, often keeping me on the edge of my seat!

I loved how their story came together in the end and how very honest and blunt they were about their feelings. They didn't play games with each other, which is always a big plus in a book for me.

I thoroughly enjoyed the action, adventure and romance of 'Rescued by Her Highland Soldier,' and highly recommend picking up a copy!

Happy Reading!
