Julie and the Phantoms Streaming Party Cakes.

"We didn't get many gigs out of that one but they did have some pretty gnarly snacks."

Ok, guys, so we're four months strong in to our love for Julie and the Phantoms and what can we say? We just can't get enough of this show. It's been our little ray of sunshine on stressful days and blasting the songs each day has truly been bringing us so much joy.

Tonight, we're joining in with a worldwide streaming party and couldn't be more excited to see so many people come together over a shared love of something that makes us all happy. It's only love (baby, only love) and positivity here!!!

Recipe.

What you will need.

5 cups of rice krispies.

1/2 cup of butter.

100g marshmallows.

White royal icing.

Icing pens.

Glass/moulds.

What to do.

Melt the butter and the marshmallows together in a saucepan over a low heat.

Add the rice krispies and mix together.

Take the pan off the heat and scoop into moulds. We buttered three nutella glasses and then spooned the mixture in, making sure to pack it in.

Then place the glasses in the freezer.

We kept ours in the freezer for about 30 minutes until we were ready to decorate.

We used a knife to help ease the treats out of the glasses.

Once we had our little ghosties out of their moulds, we rolled out our white icing with a rolling pin (we actually had a rolling pin this time, not a glass, thank you Grandad) and used powdered sugar for dusting, so the icing didn't stick to the table. Then we carefully lifted the icing and placed it over each mould.

Then it was time for the fun part...the decorating. All credit for Luke's hat goes to our little sister Jen who crocheted it. Isn't it cute? The icing pens were really fun to use and don't they just look adorable?

For the cupcakes we used a simple peanut butter cupcake recipe from Taste of Home and then decorated them with all the pink and purple sprinkles for Julie. :)

What do you think? Have you made any Julie and the Phantoms inspired bakes?

To everyone joining in tonight, we hope you all have a blast. We're wishing everyone an amazing weekend!

All our love.
