Cooking with our favourite bloggers.

We follow a lot of awesome bloggers and there is nothing we love more than getting to sit down with a cup of coffee on a weekend morning catching up on their latest posts. There are so many wonderful people out there with amazing ideas from, recipes to beauty tips, blog advice to fitness, that inspiration is quite literally everywhere.

When feeling hungry one day last week we weren't in the mood for our standard scrambled eggs on toast. All of a sudden we remembered seeing an Instagram picture from our friend Steph, of a scrumptious looking egg cooked in to bread. Steph always makes the most delicious food, with stunning photography which leaves us drooling, so we decided we would actually make what she had posted. Following this thought we realized that while we adore scrolling through our favourite blogs and looking at recipes and the gorgeous photos that accompany them,we never actually take the time to make what we see. Alas, that is about to change!
Today, we have made three different foodie treats from some fabulous ladies. We had so much fun going back to these recipes then collecting all the ingredients and making them in our kitchens. We hope we did them justice. If you don't already follow these ladies or their blogs, check them out! :)

As we mentioned above, Steph's foodie photos always look so amazing that are mouths are watering by the end of her posts. We have seen her make fried eggs inside toast a few times, which New Zealander's seem to call Toad in the Hole. In England Toad in the Hole is something completely different, involving Sausages and Yorkshire pudding! We couldn't resist trying it though, as it looked delightful. It was super simple to make and rather delicious, not to mention too cute.

We love Carly Rowena's outlook on food and fitness. She makes a lot of sense to us when she talks about balance and the fact that you have to enjoy life from all angles. We're foodies and we love going to the gym, it's that simple. When we saw these frozen yogurt bites, we knew we had to try them. We only needed a few ingredients, all of which were things we love. They didn't take very long at all to mix together, you just have to keep them in the fridge for up to 5 hours or overnight. We went for overnight and the next day after the gym they made the perfect and yummy snack.

How absolutely delicious do these look? Going off what we said about Carly Rowena, life is all about balance. We thoroughly enjoyed our yogurt bites, so thought it would be fun to try something a little more indulgent. Again this recipe is very simple and also lots of fun to put together. Hello, rimming a glass with peanut butter!!! Who would have thought??!! Lindsay and Lauren take the most beautiful foodie photos, so make sure you follow them on Instagram too at The Cupcake Chronicles. We have quite the long list of 'must try treats' from their website, so we are thrilled to be putting our butts in gear and kicking it off with this awesome drink. This drink by the way...OMG!!!

Which foodie bloggers do you love to follow and do you ever make what you read about? We would love to know. We had so much fun with these recipes, that we may actually make this a little series on the blog! Let us know what you think! :)
