What we're thankful for!

We hope everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving and got to spend it with their loved ones. We are quite settled into the tradition of Thanksgiving now and enjoy getting to celebrate with our families and take a moment to stop and appreciate all that we have in our lives. It goes without saying that every single day we couldn't feel more blessed and thankful for the lives we lead and for the people in them. We don't go a day without thanking our lucky stars for our health, happiness and those around us.
Today we wanted to share a few more things that we are thankful for and encourage you to share with us what makes you feel grateful in the comments below. We welcome you to have some fun with it too, after all, it can often be tiny little things each day that make us feel blessed.

We are thankful for our jobs and that having them means we can afford a roof over our heads and food on the table, two things we could never take for granted. We are also grateful for all the new jobs we experienced this year while stepping out of our comfort zones. We've met some lovely people and had some very cool experiences.

We are grateful to wake up each morning and be able to get ourselves out of bed. The fact that our bodies are healthy, that we can go to the gym, push ourselves and go about our everyday routines on a daily basis with everything functioning as it should, is a blessing.

That we live in a world that has Christmas! :) This time of year is just magical and such a wonderful thing to experience. The fairy lights, the decorations, the songs, the movies, the food, the drinks, the atmosphere, the gift giving, there really is nothing quite like it to us. We are thankful for all our memories of Christmas's past and all the excitement that future Christmas's bring.
We are grateful to have been able to spend time with our brother and sister when they surprised us last month. Never in a million years did we  think they would, no matter how much we wished for it. To see them standing in our doorway...well, there are no words to describe it. If we could bottle that feeling, we would never let it go!

We honestly wouldn't know what to do if we couldn't see our families faces at least 2-3 times a week. If we even go a day without speaking to our sister, we miss her so much. So being able to actually see her is so awesome. As for our grandparents, the times we get to see them on Skype are so unbelievably precious to us. Our hearts are always bursting with happiness after chatting with them.
There is something so comforting about wrapping your hands round a warm mug of freshly brewed coffee. In fact, a warm mug of anything makes us happy but especially coffee. We love nothing more than waking up in the morning and being able to sit, catch up with the world, read, blog or watch TV, while sipping on a delicious mug full of coffee.

Blogger Twitter Chats!
We have met so many awesome bloggers through chats on Twitter. On days where we are feeling overwhelmed or down, chatting to so many lovely people, who all share our passion for blogging, as well as have similar likes and dislikes to us is the perfect mood changer. We have a laugh about fun and random topics and it's just great. Like a social gathering where you can still wear your pajamas! ;p

What are you thankful for?

Have a happy Monday!
Love Lucy and Kelly
