Prosecco on a Tuesday!

Are you a stickler for routine? Are you a wait for the weekend kind of person? Do you have a 'I can't believe it's only Tuesday' kind of attitude? Do you constantly wish it was Friday? To be fair we feel we've all been there; counting down for a holiday, wishing the minutes away till a specific event. But our question now is why??? Why wait?

"Do it now! Sometimes 'later' becomes never."

What's wrong with Tuesday? What's so special about Friday? Is routine really that important if you have something fun to do or experience?

We will be the first to admit that we have our routines, and really routines are perfectly cool. However, recently we've been learning which ones can be manipulated a little in order for us the get the most out of life. For example, we like our in bed before ten, up at five routine because we feel it works for us when it comes to getting things done in the morning and accomplishing our goals, but when it comes to 'we'll wait for the weekend to watch that movie.' or 'let's do that on Friday night', we've been throwing caution to the wind and switching it up over the past few weeks.

"Don't wait for the perfect moment, take the moment and make it perfect."

Everyone's routines will be different and we feel that routines should be respected. You should never feel pressured to do something when you don't want to. But on the other hand, we will say that it can be a good thing to have that one friend or your wife, husband, partner, etc, that pushes you out of your comfort zone every once in a while.

When my husband suggests a cinema date and Nando's on a work night, my initial reaction in the past was to scoff and panic that I need to wash my hair. After some gentle persuasion and me realizing that life is happening now, those spur of the moment cinema nights have been some of my favourites. (Thank you Chris.- Kelly.)

I think we have become programmed to feel like Monday through Friday are days that somewhat don't count, but we're very much learning to push that thought by the way side and make them count. Take last night for example, who was curled up on the couch drinking Prosecco and eating ice cream watching 'The Princess Switch' on Netlfix? We were. It had been a long and busy day and quite frankly the Prosecco couldn't wait till Friday.

"Stop waiting for Friday, for summer, for someone to fall in love with you, for life. Happiness is achieved when you stop waiting for it and make the most of the moment you are in now."

Tonight we are heading off to a dance class. This is something we have said we are going to do for the longest time, but we never got round to finding a class and always said we would do it later. Well, finally we told ourselves to stop waiting and start doing. We found a class and booked it and you know what? We wish we would have done it sooner. Last week was our first class and it was amazing. And it's on a work night!!

How do you switch up routine and get the most out of every day? Do you follow a routine or do you find it easier to go with the flow? We'd love your tips on this one.

Have a wonderful day!
Love
