Dolce Vita Bloggers: Our Perfect Day in Italy.

Welcome to April's Dolce Vita Bloggers post! We are loving these topics from Kelly, Jasmine and Kristie! They are so much fun to write. So, let's dive in to this months post...

Dear Diary,

Yesterday, we woke to find that we had come into a bit of money. So today, without much thought we packed our bags and headed straight for The Amalfi Coast, our sister Jen in tow...

This morning we stretched our legs out in our soft, cosy beds, looked around at the beautiful white walls of our room at the stunning Hotel Margherita and smiled to ourselves. It was extremely quiet outside and there was no light shining in from the windows. One glance at our alarm clocks and we noticed the time, it was five in the morning. It was early, but that was the plan.

We quickly dressed in our favourite floaty dresses and sandals, with an oversized jumper for me, a cardigan for Kelly, and a jacket for Jen thrown over the top, to keep away the morning chill. We crept through the marble lobby, careful not to wake any inhabitants and made our way to the front door. Outside, the beauty of Praiano was enough to make the three of us gasp in awe. No matter how many times we have visited, it never fails to do so. The silence wrapped a blanket of comfort around us and the stars in the sky, as well as, the odd flicker of a street lamp, guided our way. Up and down the hills and rocky steps we climbed and descended until we quietly walked through the gates of the cemetery. We said hello to Grandad and chatted with him for a few minutes before sitting on the ledge at the top of the cemetery to watch the sunrise above the glittering sea.

There is nothing quite like waking up with Italy. As we made our way back through the tiny village, the smell of coffee began to rise in the air and in the distance a faint hum of cars could be heard. Back at the hotel we returned to our room, quickly freshened up, then headed down for breakfast. Just a quick coffee and delicious bread roll filled to the brim with Nutella would suffice. With money not being an issue today we decided to head into Amalfi to fill our day with coffee and pastries from one of our favourite places in the world, Pasticceria Pansa. You see, while money isn't everything, this place truly is. We could quite easily have bought everything in sight...and almost did! It was an absolute joy to indulge in our favourite cakes, whilst watching the hustle and bustle of locals and tourists, as we sat on a small, round table outside the famous Pasticceria.

With our stomachs full, we decided a trip to Milano wouldn't hurt, but to do so in such a short amount of time would require a private jet. Lucky for us, today that was not a problem! So, on the jet we hopped. It was time to do some shopping and we knew exactly where we wanted to do it - The Chiara Ferragni store! There were so many pretty things, we could have quite easily spent all day in there. Alas, with a few new shoes, bikinis and sunglasses, we decided to explore a little more of Milano before jumping back on our jet! We ventured around the city, stopping along the way at different cafe's, taste testing many a biscotti and having a nosy in some exquisite shops. Then we looked up to see a billboard advertising a Fedez show and knew it was just meant to be...

We'd had a fabulous time in both Amalfi and Milano, but with a concert to go to we made our way back to Praiano to get ready for the evening ahead. Of course, being in Praiano meant we had to take a trip to our favourite little grocery store, right near our Auntie's house. With no budget to be concerned with, we have to admit, things got a little crazy. We simply can not say no to Italian food and all the produce looked amazing. We took our bags of goodies up to our Aunties house and sat down to an early evening feast of mouthwatering burata, basil and tomatos fresh from the garden, pasta and meatballs, salami and caciocavallo cheese. Our stomachs were stuffed and happy. Being around the table with our family is all the riches we need! As the sun slowly started to set, we kissed our Aunties good bye, swept in and out of Hotel Margherita and jumped back on our private jet, all clad in Chiara Ferragni's finest, ready for our night out.

We had been waiting to see Fedez and J-AX live for years and couldn't quite believe we were finally getting the chance to experience it... in San Siro stadium of all places. The atmosphere was electric and Fedez & J-AX were brilliant! The whole show was amazing!!

We have just arrived back at the hotel and thought we would put pen to paper. We are exhausted but happy. Our day filled with adventure, food, a little shopping and family couldn't have been more perfect!

Buona Notte!
