The best in Gym Wear!

With the gym having become somewhat of my second home in the past year, it's safe to say that I have become quite the fan of purchasing gym wear. I by no means have a huge collection, as once I get comfortable in something I like to get my wear out of it, but I do have a range of clothing from a few different brands. I've had most of these items for about a year now, so today I thought I would share with you what has stood the test of time against sweating, squatting and stretching.

Victoria Secret.
These (first picture) pants I bought when Victoria Secret was doing their 'buy a sports bra and get a pant for $30' deal and I absolutely LOVE them. I was always put off by how expensive Victoria Secrets can be, hence why I waited to purchase these with the deal, but now I can understand that you truly are paying for amazing quality. I was lucky enough to get some gift cards for my birthday and when they had another deal like this I picked up the olive green pants, that I had had my eye on for a while. They are the comfiest things ever. I LOVE them too. Both pants are cozy, stretchy and great for squat days as the fabric is thick and moveable. The first pair I have worn at least twice a week, every week for the past year and they don't have any frays, the fabric hasn't become loose or worn, they are still perfect. Check out Victoria Secrets for more! :)

GymShark.
Sometimes it's hit or miss with GymShark. These grey cropped mesh leggings, in the second picture, I can't really say I'm a fan of. The fabric and the tiny little band around the top of the big waist band makes them feel rather tight around my stomach and the fabric I don't care to squat in. However, these flex leggings, above, are amazing. You have probably seen people raving about them and taking many a selfie in them on Instagram and I have to say, they are honestly that good. At first I thought they looked tiny (I wear an XS) and that I would never be able to fit in them, but the fabric is so smooth and stretchy that they feel incredibly comfy and breathable when on. The band is firm and can be a bit snug, but it just means you aren't constantly pulling them up. It's definitely not uncomfortable. I think I've said it before but I feel like a ninja when I wear these, they are just so flexible and great for leg days. Check out this awesome Infographic on GymShark products for the latest in their releases, as well as coupon codes and sales. I am definitely keeping my eyes on this site with Nikki Blackketter having just launched a new range with Gymshark. It's so pretty and I adore the style and designs she has created.

Old Navy.
Now, I have to say that with Old Navy, you MUST try the pants on before you buy them. I think I have tried on at least five pairs of their active pants, ranging from size x-small, small and medium and each pant fit differently, to the point where some I couldn't even get past my ankles! :p However, these purple leggings fit like a dream. They are comfy, soft, flexible and I have had no trouble squatting in them. I have had them for over six months now, wearing them at least twice a week and they haven't frayed or become see through. I love the print of them too, it's just so bright and happy. For the price, the Old Navy active wear is on point with colours and prints and I highly recommend them. But, again I'd suggest trying them on before you buy them! Visit Old Navy online or in store to check out their latest sales and Summer styles!

Kohls.

I couldn't resist buying these Captain America pants, because, well, who doesn't want to pretend they are a superhero when working out? They were a great fit and extremely comfy but I do have to say that after having them for a year, they haven't quite stood the test of time like the others. After so many washes, they have started to fray and I have a hole in the waist band now. In addition, I do stay away from wearing them on leg days as the fabric has become slightly sheer and loose and I feel like I have to pull them up a lot during my workout. Just as a side note, this picture makes me laugh and think of Charlie in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia when he's doing his denim jean dance. :p Also, please forgive me that they look a mess, I wrestled in them on the weekend and the are now pretty much on their way out. Kohls does have some really cool themed workout gear though, so many if you can get them in the sales, they can be fun for a little while! :) I can't quite remember the brand that did this set, but Kohls do stock Nike, Under armor and a few other tops brands.

What are your favourite workout clothing brands? I have to say that Victoria Secret, VS Sport, might have to be my ultimate favourite. When I put my Olive green pants on the other day I said to my husband that I could happily wear these ones out and about running errands all day, they are that comfy. I do want to mention too that my gym pants go in the wash on a warm/cold cycle and I then hang them up to dry, I don't put them in the dryer. :)

Have an awesome day!
Love
